Ann Monroe Tuemler, OTD, OTR/L

Co-owner, Occupational Therapist, Life Coach

Ann (Dr. T) specializes in assessments and interventions for children, adolescents, and young adults with complex profiles. This includes those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), emotional and behavioral challenges, sensory processing challenges, learning delays, social-emotional difficulties and motor coordination challenges, as well as twice exceptional students.

 

Her career has been dedicated to the unique needs of individuals as they transition to their adult roles, as she believes it is never too early to start! She is well-versed in the development of emotional skills that are critical to getting (and maintaining) a job, enrolling (and staying) in college, and creating (and sustaining) friendships. In line with the mission at Next Right Steps, Ann has spent her career helping her clients build sustainable independence across all domains of life.  She is passionate about providing family-centered, community and home-based Occupational Therapy coaching, as well as environmental supports. She emphasizes client-specific goals for a lifetime of achievement.  

 

Ann received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. She has worked in public schools and private clinics. She lives in Atlanta with her 3 children and enjoys Zen-tangling in her spare time.

Bonnie Klopach, BS Ed., LMSW

Co-owner, Behavior Specialist, Counselor

Bonnie is an adept, intuitive, and seasoned professional who has built a career around constructing steadfast parent/child relationships, especially when dealing with complex behaviors. She has worked extensively within non-profit organizations and the public school system. Ms. Klopach’s philosophy and approach to behavior intervention has been molded over more than a decade of working with students and their families.

 

Bonnie is especially interested in creating and strengthening the support network surrounding those affected by executive function and behavior challenges such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD).  She believes the key to their personal success lies within the critical segment of the family, primary caregivers, and professionals who directly interact with clients. She is strongly committed to assisting and providing information, education, and support necessary for a successful and productive life of an individual with life challenges.

 

Bonnie received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in Secondary Math Education and her master’s degree in Social Work from Kennesaw State University. She has two grown children and resides in Marietta, GA with her husband, Mike.
